About Us

Frappo66 is a concept developed by Steven J. Frappolli. Steve (FRAPPO), a 1986 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, has been cooking since he was old enough to use a stove and has extensive restaurant experience. His skills were honed in New York City at Larry Forgione's An American Place (for you foodies!), Miami under chef Jose Andres, and New Orleans for the Brennan family. Internationally, he's worked as a chef in Edinburgh (Scotland), Barcelona (Spain) and Bordeaux (France) before finally coming to Provincetown.

His idea for Frappo 66 was fine food fast -- dining without the commitment (or cost) of a conventional sit-down restaurant. The goal is to simplify things while offering interesting quality food at an affordable price. You will find a wide array of diverse selections on either our cafe menu or Daily Dish. All of the food is prepared in house with no artificial ingredients, no mass-produced vinaigrettes or sauces, and no trans fats -- in other words, distinctive food prepared with integrity and a commitment to excellence, value and dash of whimsical fun.

Our Hot Spot (where our fresh-from-the-oven food is ready to eat-in or take away) is interactive. Taste a sample before you order and talk with the staff about its ingredients.
The cafe menu (which is available between noon and closing) is a selection of soups, salads and sandwiches that are made to order. Grab a menu, sit down and pick out what you want, then go up to the counter, order, and someone will bring it out to you in a matter of minutes.

We hope you try us out and are pleased with what we offer!
